Volunteers are a 3 piece (sometimes up to 6 piece) garage country group from the North Okanagan. They take influence from John Prine, Buffy St. Marie, Gene Clark, The Flying Burrito Brothers and other psych country acts from the 60s and 70s. Blending them with traditional folk & country songwriting conventions under dense lyricism about love, mortality, compost & garbage
